Empowering Through Connection
Michael Bloom was a dedicated police officer for nearly a decade. Fueled by a passion for making a difference, Michael transitioned from law enforcement to devote himself full-time to Hip Hop and Hope. His story is a testament to the power of faith, compassion, and the belief in the potential for positive change, even in the most challenging environments.
Who We Are
At Hip Hop & Hope, we believe in the power of connection, transformation, and redemption. Based in Fargo, North Dakota, our nonprofit team is committed to reaching people who are in the middle of their mess and reminding them that if they are not dead then they are not done!
We travel across the Upper Midwest—into prisons, jails, juvenile halls, and homeless shelters—to engage with communities that are searching for purpose and meaning.
Our goal is simple.
To help people encounter the love of Jesus, rebrand their lives, and rediscover their identity. Through art, performance, and conversation, we provide a platform for healing and transformation.
